As you descend from the mountains along the pilgrim trail from Munkeby to Markabygda, the landscape opens up into wide countryside views. Here you will find Troset Farm, one of the oldest settlements in the village, with a restored farmhouse dating back to 1780.

Troset Farm is still a working farm today. During the summer months, you will meet goats and cows grazing in the fields. The farm offers accommodation for pilgrims in a grill cabin and in the “Grandmother’s House” (Mormorhuset).

Troset is also home to the Troset Clinic, where visitors can receive acupuncture treatments. The clinic regularly organizes courses and workshops in mindfulness and qigong.
