If you have been to IKEA restaurant know that this is one of the most popular traditional Swedish meals and this has been a staple in Swedish homes for centuries. Thanks to IKEA, this traditional cuisine has gained worldwide recognition.

Swedish meatballs (köttbullar) are usually made with a blend of ground beef and pork, lightly seasoned with salt, pepper, and sometimes a touch of allspice. They’re fried in a pan untill get brownish. and normally served with mashed or boiled potatoes, topped with thick creamy brown gravy and lingonberry jam (lingonsylt ) in order to add the right touch of sweetness. This is a simple dish but deeply combines with savory, creamy, and sweet in every bite.
