The farm is located completely secluded in the forest. There is active farming here with sheep, chickens, honey bees, and a rich vegetable garden. In total, we have 8 beds available, but if necessary, we can always find space for a few more guests.

Both cabins have electricity, a cooking plate, refrigerator, and a wood-burning stove. Outside, there is a bench and dining table, as well as a fire pit where you can grill. There is also a swimming spot in the river Nævra, a 7-minute walk from the cabins.

There is no running water in the cabins, but there is hot and cold water in the barn 40 meters away. A shower and washing machine are installed there during the summer season. A “classic Norwegian outdoor toilet” is located very close to the cabins. There is also a table tennis table available, and we have some bicycles that can be borrowed free of charge.

We offer breakfast with a packed lunch for NOK 150 (the food is placed in the refrigerator in the cabins).
Dinner costs NOK 200 (we prefer advance notice).
Accommodation costs NOK 350 with your own sleeping bag, and NOK 400 if bed linen is required.
It is also possible to set up a tent by agreement.

Torstjønna pilgrim hostel is well suited for those who want to be close to nature and are comfortable with simple accommodation standards. It is also a good place to include an extra rest day to recover before continuing on to Nidaros Cathedral.
