Hotell Hållandsgården is beautifully located in Hålland, in the Åre valley near the Indals river and Ristafallet waterfall.

We accommodate courses, camps and arrange outdoor activities. Our experienced guides can take you on hiking and mountain experiences, an excellent addition to your course, conference or camp activities.

St Olav’s trail passes our farm and in the summer season it is possible to book our pilgrimage package.

Hållandsgården’s pilgrim center is beautifully situated beside the pilgrim trail St Olavsleden, where Norway’s “Eternal King” passed in 1030. Near the hotel you will find the impressive Ristafallet waterfall and St Olof’s spring, unique to the Nordic countries and mentioned in a book from the 16th century. Saint Birgitta is said to have passed here on one of her pilgrimages. Our location is central between Selånger, Trondheim and Stiklestad, which makes us a good place to start day trips along the pilgrimage trail. Our bus groups often book a full day with a pilgrim theme with us. Those interested in culture are happy to stay here.

Hållandsgården’s wooden stave church was built in 1999

Our church can be booked for weddings and baptisms. For our course and camp participants, the church is often a natural part of their program. The Church of Sweden’s summer devotionals, various concerts etc. are also conducted here. Welcome to a peaceful place.
